I agree with the widely-held view among economists and Wall Street analysts that it's not the time to worry about fiscal deficits and government debt. After all, the priority is to stop short-term and reversible problems becoming harder-to-resolve long-term ones -- from the insolvency of essentially viable companies to long-term unemployment and greater inequality.
