Seems likely that "digital transformation" will be even more of thing in the current age. While it's temping to see this as a thing for massive companies and costing a lot, often it comes down to doing simple things well. Is your location correct on Google maps? What about opening hours updated? Are you selling online? It takes about an hour to set up a store and start doing " eCommerce" on Shopify. Does your website work on Safari or Firefox? Does your website crash at the payment screen? or freakout if you try to add the same item twice to a basket? The list goes on. Realistically most of the big changes that lie ahead were already happening. It’s largely an excuse for companies to make the changes they were reluctant to make, and its forced customers to adopt new behaviors they didn’t know about or didn’t feel the need to do before.
