I just gave a keynote at the Budapest summit of the Global Alliance for Medical Education. I talked about how disruptive technologies impact the future of learning, why medical professionals must learn about artificial intelligence and at least have to understand the basics and also how educators can prepare to introduce the medical workforce to digital health. To illustrate why we need to teach medical professionals digital literacy and technological intelligence, I mentioned a real example: Several physicians asked me - all joking aside - whether the organs they see through the Virtuali-Tee augmented reality application were my real ones.
