The FOMO of Clubhouse got to me. Everywhere I see, on my Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, it was "Clubhouse, Clubhouse..." I went on to my Twitter and asked for an invite, within 30mins I was browsing the clubs, rooms, and hallways. Lurking and Listening. I even got kicked out of the room. I didn't know what I did wrong haha, I think I got heat from loving fried chicken ๐. ๐ Clubhouse is likely going to the hot trend of the year. Just like TikTok was hot, you be hearing more about the platform. The advantage of being an early adopter: ๐ Access to influencers and decision-makers They are obsessively hanging and sharing high-value knowledge. I listened to Lupe Fiasco moderated a chat about anti-capitalism. Millionaires are hanging here?! Great for entrepreneurial-minded people who want to see what the mindset is like. ๐ Networking w. high-value folks ๐ Create a channel / build a community The key is to moderation and being a great host. But what I really love (and agree with James Andrews), the voice of diversity is lit. The variety of colour is what makes me happy. People of colour are dominant here. Who else is on Clubhouse, though on it so far? My handle is @stringstory - let's connect on CH #stringtheory on #social #clubhouse #digitalmarketingtrends โฆsee more
I hear this mantra "Quality over Quantity". There are a few misconceptions I'm going to break (read more) ๐ One - if you're not creating. This thinking means nada. If you're not producing content online, your presence is silent. Your competitor who is active can garner more attention and prospects than you. ๐ Two - Quality is better. Well, if you're producing one quality post a month, it doesn't trigger the social algorithm. They favour those who are consistent with volume :P If you want an audience, consistency of content trumps one quality post. ๐ Three - Relevance is better than quality... With relevance, you reach a better audience who appreciate your content and thinking more. You can set up a better pipeline for sales. You understand how to position yourself as an expert. Don't fear producing a quantity of shitty content. Fear being unseen. unheard. Fear being irrelevant. Agree/Disagree? --- PS That's why The Trusted Circle has been set up, a membership programme to amplify the voices of experts and leaders. In this age of COVID, it's time to leverage being seen and being online. Although increasing the real life interaction among the younger generation is a big enough problem worth solving, I donโt think Friboโs approach will be effective at scale. Do We Really Need All Those Doctorโs Visits? No... And it took a pandemic to prove it to all of us...again. Experts have been telling us for years that at least 15-30% of healthcare and procedures are simply unnecessary. And not only unnecessary, but could cause other medical problems due to the chance of experiencing a medical error. Why Is there so much unnecessary care? Because care is driven by many forces: โdefensiveโ medicine by doctors trying to avoid lawsuits; a reluctance on the part of doctors and patients to accept diagnostic uncertainty (which leads to more tests); the exorbitant prices that American doctors and hospitals charge, and the pervasive belief that newer, more expensive technology is always better. Consider this: Perhaps Americans donโt require the volume of care that their doctors are used to providing. Know what I say? Stay home to get better. โฆsee more

Instead, in the name of The Medical Futurist team, I ask for your help for being able to create more free expert content in the future too. To achieve this, we produce free articles, videos, posts, and even free e-books. We help everyone adopt this vision, so that we can fight together. You might also know that for maintaining an authentic and objective voice, I never accept any sponsorship when reviewing any technology or service. The only kind of sponsorship we need now is your support of our mission by joining our Patreon community. (If you are already doing so, many thanks!) You can meet with like-minded individuals, read personal and detailed analyses, watch videos, participate in familiar live Q&As, and listen to a podcast. If you just feel like expressing your sympathy, you can contribute with as little as $3 a month. Even sharing this post is a huge help! Thanks! Which medical specialty do you think has the biggest potential and need for health apps and chatbots? Based on all the questions I receive, I see that it's mental health - and with that, the fields of psychiatry and psychology. Of course it interests all of us. Not only medical professionals, but everyone wanting to take care of their psyche. No wonder: one in four people are affected by mental or neurological disorders at some point in our lives - yet even a fraction of them receive any treatment. It's not only the stigma and indifference, but also the lack of specialists that makes mental health a field craving for digital therapeutics. The variety of such support is increasingly effective: often even more than human therapists! To learn more about the most auspicious examples and directions in this extremely dynamic field, I recommend you to read 'The Technological Future of Medical Specialties' (download from the link!).
