Dr. Anthony Fauci just finished an insightful Zoominar with NBC News anchor Kate Snow for the global Cornell University (which currently has a 0.04% positive Covid rate) student and alumni community. He took questions from 3 Cornell students, including one from a fourth-year Cornell Weill Medical School (his alma mater) student who asked him about his advice for physicians trying to more effectively communicate their ideas to a broad audience. To paraphrase his answer: ‘Don’t try to act smart. Be understandable. You might come off as highly knowledgeable, but if no one understands what you’re saying, you’ve failed to communicate.’ #cornelluniversity #communications #covid19insights …see more

Over 220 Marketing leaders from huge brands and leading agencies have contributed to this book. I wrote a bit too and a cracking foreword by Mark Ritson £20 for lots of clever insights with ALL the proceeds going to the NHS charities Covid appeal. Somehow everything about the notion of apps these days seems like an old fashioned way to think about how we use devices. Feels like there is a better way. Customer flows around needs, based around “journeys” more than fitting into the artificial gated worlds of apps. TV is a mess of apps when i just want to watch what I love, social media forces us to spread ourselves across different places, a typical smartphone means having 5-10 apps for different devices. Why can’t the experience work around what people want to do. I rarely download new apps, those I download I never use, doesn’t mean there are lots of new experiences to create and new ways to make money …see more

There is a lot of fantastic quality "native" advertising that has literally nothing to do with the brand that paid for it all. If all you are doing is sticking you're logo on a publications work, you've missed the point.

I love that he’s always taught me to use my gifts and my voice to unapologetically advocate for people who are often marginalized, overlooked, and discriminated against. So proud to be your daughter!! 😍 …see more
