AI can do amazing things, but it doesn't mean it's right just because something is possible. There is a huge potential for backlash against misuse of AI, and policymakers and regulators will no doubt be increasingly interested. This means that it's vital organisations are pursuing the ethical use of AI. Here are 4 ways to do just that: ✅ Build stakeholder trust ✅ Avoid the “black box problem" ✅ Think critically ✅ Check for biases in data & algorithms If you would like to know more about using AI ethically in your organisation, check out my article > https://bit.ly/2Z2Bd3k #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #Tech #Technology #Business #Ethical #Data …see more

What does emotional intelligence look like in real life? Suddenly, your conversation turns from friendly disagreement to passionate argument. Recognizing that things have become emotionally charged, you work to get your feelings “under control.” You may even leave to prevent yourself from saying or doing something you’ll regret. Or, you recognize that your conversation partner is speaking and acting irrationally (due to being in an emotional state) as you remain calm. You make efforts to defuse the situation. If it’s necessary to continue the discussion, you may wait until the person is calmer, while giving careful thought to the best way you could broach the subject. The point here isn't to avoid any & all conflict. Rather, it's learning to identify when conflict is coming so you’re not walking into it inadvertently and dealing with it in a way you later regret. EQ also involves learning to see your thoughts and feelings from the perspective of others. But we’ve only begun to scratch the surface.
