We should buy Greenland. Meaning: you and me and our friends. Not any one country (US, Denmark, China). I explain, why, why now, how we would do it. Greenland turns out to be one of the most strategic locations on the planet. When I first wrote this up, someone from Denmark got upset at me. Said it was an insult. But the natives of Greenland have the highest suicide rate in the world. Let's stop the nonsense. Let's buy Greenland. NOW! …see more

Great writing skills are vastly underestimated. The reality is that great communication is typically the most important aspect to your career , and (sadly) most key communication these days isn’t face to face or on the phone.
I woke up at 2am to record an episode for my new #esports podcast I'm launching. I've missed feeling this level of excitement for the things that I create. When you build something: company/community/brand I've found that when you start it, it feels like it's yours. Then you start to let more people into your world, and somewhere along the line it stops feeling like yours. It becomes bigger than you. Which is awesome. But different. Lesson: Continuously take time to get to know yourself and find new passions. This newsletter is a part of my evolution. My new podcast as well. Hold onto that fire. #justQ 🖖🏽🖤 …see more

Because I grew up ugly,I was always insecure about first impressions. "Ugly" was my boot camp for bleeding as fast as possible. Vulnerability buys freedom. Freedom to look how I want, to say what I want, to do what I want. I like to study first lines. They have to be powerful: a few simple words that compel us to read the next 300 pages. How do the authors do it? How can I do it? Here are 12 first lines from my favorite books and WHY they "bleed". . . #writing #lifestyle #fiction #nonfiction …see more

We may think it's weird that Billionaire and world changer Elon Musk spends his time bickering with strangers on the internet. But it's a cautionary tale about how social media messes with our brains.
McDonald’s( in Europe) is the most digitally transformed business we never talk about .The self serve system and the way it’s integrated into the kitchens is astonishingly fast. Partnerships for delivery impressive too. The Digital kiosk self serve ordering tech is impressive although the booking flow isn’t well designed. Way too many steps.

I think AR is going to be a big thing, just only on your phone and not silly headsets. Interesting to see what happens when QR style codes or image recognition becomes popular via Apple, Snapchat, Spotify and other platforms and then both behavior and use cases change. It's fun think of what it can mean for how reality and online worlds mesh and build on each other.
