The biggest challenge in being an adult, in saving money, in having freedom, in having success, is the ability to break free from the brainwashing, is to break free from the Matrix. To live your own life without everyone trying to drag you down into their HELL. …see more
Padmavathi SK , I cannot do my job as well as I do, without you doing your job as well as you do. I am grateful to have you in my life and for all the support you provide me smilingly and consistently.
I've founded (and sold) two startup companies in my life. And one of my biggest takeaways? It's not exactly a fun job 😂 For as much hype and praise entrepreneurship gets, it's an incredibly stressful job that will leave you drained. And when it's not clear whose responsibility something is? Congratulations, it's yours! Now that I've moved into a role as an investor, I interact with a lot of startup founders and one thing I always tell them is that they really only have one job: prioritize. CEOs are professional prioritizers. Everything else is secondary. This brings me to the biggest issue I have with founders... They're sharp and capable of performing at a high-level, but they make no time in their day for their key responsibility of prioritizing. They are so busy responding to emails, Slack messages, and in Zoom waiting rooms, they don't make time to plan long term goals and scale their company. And so my advice to every founder is this: Make time to think. It is quite literally a competitive advantage. While other people are distracted, running from task to task, you'll be able to do the strategic thinking necessary to build a viable company. Are you a founder? How do you prioritize? #Founders #Scale #Advantage …see more

Ripples of #inspiration are built one link at a time. Glad to see Kunal Bahl 's journey serve as an inspiration. Hope to see more leaders take up #entrepreneurship and succeed.
The recent news of suicides due to financial stress, such as the one by the German finance minister and others, made me rethink the importance of putting problems in perspective. For e.g, it was reported that 'His main concern was whether he could manage to fulfil the huge expectations of the population, especially in terms of financial aid. He clearly couldn't see any way out. He was desperate, and so he left us.' But everyone who knew him thought he was brilliant and most capable of doing his job. So #perspective and getting help when we feel hopeless is very important. And #communicating openly, without self-judging ourselves harshly, is also an important life skill, saying what you feel & being open and vulnerable is a survival skill everyone should embrace. However, hopeless the situation seems, there is always something that can be done differently. The latest research suggests some people are having low self-esteem staying alone. Many fear layoff & salary cuts as well. Whatever the reason, there is a stigma when all of us face problems in life and need support from time to time. Glad to also see several mental health solutions, like Wysa, InnerHour, Cure.Fit ; growing in India to provide support in a caring, objective & anonymous way. #WeekendMusings …see more
Overnight #success is a myth. The quote, "Most people overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in ten years." is very apt. Slow and steady progress over a long time period is better than "moving fast and breaking things" in my view. Here are some of the great companies that stood the test of time and became unicorns over a decade! #Startups #Business …see more
LinkedIn needs more black & brown creators. I started creating on this platform when I was 23. There were only a few people creating on the platform that looked like me. I saw opportunity in that but I know that can be discouraging for others. Representation matters. If you are black/brown and you need help with anything LinkedIn/content let me know. Comment on this post, shoot me a message, ask advice, anything. I will answer every single one. I just want to see more people win. This platform is full of opportunities. And PLEASE tag some of your favorite black/brown creators on this platform. I don't know many and that is so sad. #justQ 🖖🏽🖤 …see more
At Kalaari, we are big fans of Cure.Fit . Of course, we are an investor in them, and we love the opportunity to journey with them as they make #fitness and wellness essential and accessible in everyone's lives. Many members of our team are a proof of that. They love working out at Cult. Most of us enjoy the Dance Fitness sessions. We introduced our new batch of Fellows to Cult. What better way to onboard them than to do shared activities we love together! We had fun, and bonded over some serious dancing. Glad Cure.fit is now open and safe to use. #teamwork #KalaariFamily …see more

I wish every annual review included questions like. What's the biggest risk you took? In what ways have you lead change? What's your biggest screw up? How have you helped others to grow? What assumptions do you no longer make? What outside the industry have you brought in? How have you helped nurture a culture of curiousity in this company? etc …see more
It's weird how much of the internet is still photo based, not video based. Like why doesn't Airbnb feature video walkthroughs of apartments? Why are real estate listings not vidoes? From Dating apps to Furniture retailers, it's odd we still think that videos are hard to make or slow to stream.
I’m thrilled to be taking the stage this year at ANOKHI Media’s 15 year anniversary event - #AnokhiPowerSummit18 . It’s this Saturday in Toronto.
