I turned 25 today and I just wanted to say this. One of the things I’m most thankful for is my team. We are one of Milwaukee's fastest growing startups, completely bootstrapped, and less than a year old. A common thread that I notice in all of my team members is that everyone has a level of obsession for their craft. I used to be a collegiate track athlete. After every competition I would dissect my triple jump performance. And that's something that I have brought into entrepreneurship, content creation, and speaking as well. - I define my standards of success - I dissect the performance on camera/stage based off that criteria - Take notes, make tweaks, and then move onto the next performance. Just something to think about for those of you that are trying to improve on camera/stage/storytelling/etc. Thank you for all of the birthday wishes, messages, and thank you for existing! #justQ 🖤 …see more
I can't believe it's nearly 2020 and nobody has found a way to charge me 10 cents to read an article. I'm not going to sign up for a trial for $1, nor pay $50 per year, nor unblock ads. Take my money you idiots.

Pricing is power. Most companies think strategically about the product but don’t about the pricing. #Pricing strategy is critical to #success . Increasing the perceived value of a product is critical to increasing your customer adoption and loyalty. Cutting price and discounting is not the only option for #growth . I wanted to write about pricing as a #strategy for a long time. I would like to hear your views on this. #Entrepreneurship #Value #CustomerCentricity …see more

The history of #ValueCreation in free India has time & again seen successful enterprises coming together to better the lives of Indians – be it Maruti & Suzuki for automobile, Hindustan & Unilever for FMCG, Walmart & Flipkart for e-commerce, or Disney & Hotstar for content. These #partnerships have delivered product innovation and changed the face of an industry. The story of Facebook and Jio is that of defining India’s digital economy for the decades to come. My thoughts on the landmark deal- …see more
In 2016 I told myself that I would never work for anyone else again. Life has changed so much for me in the past year and a half. Lost my brother and decided to close down my company. Two things that were interwoven in my identity. And with that, I’ve changed quite a bit. I feel like every week for the past 4 years I’ve read a post about someone quitting their full time job to follow their dreams/become an entrepreneur/etc. I’ve always loved those. But, I’m doing the opposite. I just joined Lewis Howes & Greatness Media . It’s something I couldn’t have predicted but I’m deeply excited for. He’s someone that I’ve followed, studied, and learned from. I love the mission & vision for the team. For as much as I come from chaos and change — I’m learning that these “promises” that I’ve made to myself have been a way for me to maintain control. A way for me to stay in my comfort zone. So, this is me — “quitting” entrepreneurship to follow my dreams of being the most badass version of me. Thank you all for the support over the years. It's been a wild ride. #justQ 🖖🏽🖤 …see more
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend. (It is starting in a quiet way here at Queens’ as the pup ponders what’s ahead after retrieving her ball.)

Age is irrelevant. For anyone that feels that they are "too" young or "too" old, know that's bullshit. If it were up to the world you would be too young until you're too old. If you want to make an impact then just get out there and do it. Things started happening for me when I stopped asking for permission and gave myself permission to do great things. If you don't believe in yourself then you can't expect anyone else to. Whether you're 18 or 81 you have value to bring to the world. Share it. #justQ 🖖🏽🖤 …see more
Yes. I'm differently-abled and a proud advocate. No, you usually can't tell unless you see me walk or read. Because of this, it can be challenging to push inclusion, awareness, acceptance and accessibility forward. Today I had the pleasure of joining representatives from the great state of Wisconsin as Governor Tony Evers signed an executive order to push diversity and inclusion forward. This is one step forward in the right direction to combat bias through education, support and training initiatives to come. The differently-abled community is an untapped market of adversity warriors that often have an outstanding EQ and issue resolution skills, overcoming challenges daily. If you're serious about inclusion and diversity or you have a personal story with discrimination and accessibility issues, connect with me today. Please connect with Deborah Davis for more thought leadership in the differently-abled community. #diversityandinclusion #inclusion #inspiration …see more

If an planes engines cut out at 40,000ft most planes can glide easily for many miles, most with skilled pilots and a lot of work can land without casualties. That’s what this working from home era feels like. We’re all quick to point out it’s working , because so far few companies or people have failed. But you can’t take off this way, you can’t travel far this way, it takes a lot more work to make up for it. You can cope but you don’t design for this I accept for some companies based in software for example, it’s far far less of an issue, but most companies need trust, ideas, belonging, togetherness. You need to see premises, you need to touch things, you need camaraderie. And imagine being a new starter now or being young and wanting inspiration or mentorship ? …see more

Why delegate when I can do it faster myself? 🛑 That's the trap that a lot of entrepreneurs & creators fall into. In order to scale/grow/move onto bigger things you have to delegate. "In the long run you're not going to be able to do it faster yourself." - Jackie Hermes I was listening to Brittany Krystle Hoffman 's podcast with Sean Cannell and he spoke about how, even though it's a fabricated belief, most creators don't want to delegate because they feel that their style can't be replicated. Delegation may take a ton of time up front and things will go wrong, but in the end it's necessary and totally worth it. 2018 was a huge year for me in terms of business growth, personal growth, and delegation. I've learned a ton from watching the entrepreneurs around me grow their companies. Who are you learning from right now? #justQ 🖤 …see more

While I admire your urgency, it's a bit too early ( by 20-50 days) to be writing your "this is how a post COVID19 world will be & this is what to do about it" deck. We're on the B of the Bang, trying waiting for the N. It's within the realms of possibility this fades oddly fast & these current altered times ( in many, not all) businesses will change little in terms of business dynamics, behaviors, cultures. It will clearly be a financial shock to many but not all. We will still buy toothpaste and phones. It could indeed be the start of a new normal, with societies making radical changes, and the whole mantra of "life never the same again". These are pretty widely spaced realities and for the moment we should probably just stay away from each other & focus on what matters. As cunning as it seems to put out your " Move to eCom" or "The children of 2025 won't go outside" decks now, perhaps wait a while. It's likely many of you will be shocked by how slowly things really change, we've all had transformative vacations only to stop Yoga and eat beef again 3 days after getting to a cold Gatwick Airport. …see more
