For the love of god can we all agree on using the precise same password complexity requirements. Must be 8 characters or more and contain a symbol Before we reach that level of perfection, can you at least tell people the complexity requirements if they get it wrong. No autoexpiring passwords ever ( due to age) Ability to use the same passwords you've used before, again And please don't make me program a self driving car in order to let me spend my money with you. Please no more "memorable answers", the questions make me sad, I will likely not remember any of the answers to the ones that don't. I don't have a favorite color, I'm not 7 years old or a favorite teacher. …see more

Many issues are "idiot issues" that both parties and the media keep bringing up to try and scare people on BOTH sides. Do not pay attention to these issues. This is not a pro-Biden or pro-Trump article although I keep getting accused of both. Stop it. I feel like if you're not alt-right, people will call you a "libtard" or "snowflake" and if you're not alt-left people will call you a racist fascist. Since when has it been a crime to be a centrist? Most people are centrists but are afraid to speak right now. So I will. This is more a guide for thinking clearly about what issues are media-created and what are actually important. Don't make a decision based on issues dictated to you by the media. Here are a few of the idiot issues; #election2020 #taxes #dictatorship #russia #fraud #politics #fascism …see more
Freedom is a privilege we enjoy due to the sacrifices of many brave souls who preceded us. When I was in school, we would wear our crisp uniform for Republic Day, do march-past, have programs to enact the Independence movement and enjoy the free snacks distributed in school. Today, most schools just make it a holiday, and the kids miss out on learning that freedom is not free and shouldnt be taken for granted. Freedom is to be cherished, valued and celebrated. #RepublicDay2021 #India #inspiration #leadership …see more
Out of college I had no idea where to start with my business. So I planned. So much that I had a plan for my plans. And none of it amounted to anything. I wish I did this instead: 1). Reverse engineer. What's the end goal? What steps can I take right now to get closer to my end goal? 2). How can I make money right now? Not how will I make money in the future, because that doesn't help you right now. A business needs cash flow to survive. 3). Take a look at my habits and be intentional about the habits that I was building. Humans are habitual beings. Focus on building a few good habits at a time that will help you get to that end goal. What advice would you give your younger self when you were just getting started in your career? Thank you for interviewing us Donovan ! #justQ 🖤 …see more

It's notable how much better Linkedin is slowly becoming, and as Twitter rapidly descends into a frenzied hysterical mess. As comments sections on websites merely reinforce the worldview of typical viewers, this place is a generally polite, reasonably thoughtful, place for people from different "sides" to express themselves. Something about being attached to a name and professional reputation helps ensure civility. Don't think Linkedin should try to become Twitter, I'm quite happy to avoid Politics in one place for once. I think its future would be better as slightly longer form commenting with threaded replies. But there is something in a social network based on opinions, though, reasonable behavior, longer replies and above all else, being a place for all sides to come with an open mind …see more
Thinking a lot about AI for my book. The scary thing isn't the number of jobs is replaces, but the type. Automation and Mechanisation replaced physical work, relatively low paid jobs, where labor moved to mental value creation. This time Artificial intelligence will replace thinking, when these roles go what happens? Even with a Universal Basic Income, we can't replace the meaning of work and our sense of purpose and pride. …see more

When #TimCook took over #Apple in 2011, many naysayers believed that Apple was doomed and wouldn’t be able to create products as innovative as the #iPhone . But he has proven them wrong by building a sophisticated global supply chain that produces billions of devices and a product line designed to get people to keep upgrading to a new family of interconnected devices regularly While it took Apple 42 years to reach $1 trillion in value it just took two more years to get to $2 trillion. https://lnkd.in/eRmgkct …see more
