I just had the greatest time giving the opening keynote at the TraceLink event in Chicago. I talked about how digital health is shaping healthcare, make patients the point-of-care and what companies in the supply chain could do to bring science fiction-like technologies to patients. Many thanks to Evren Ozkaya for the photo! #keynote #speaker #future #digitalhealth #AI #healthcare #supplychain …see more
From the Wall Street Journal. We can think of this as involving three groups of States ... That is, states that will Re-open as soon as they adhere to Federal guidelines Slower ones Pre-empters As such, the US will run a natural experiment of sorts, generating lots of heath, economic and social data that -- hopefully -- will be well analyzed and used for good. #economy #covid19 #covid #coronavirus #wsj The Wall Street Journal …see more

Thanks to everyone who shared my last update on the TEDx talk. We're inching closer and closer to 100K views. Appreciate all the support! 🙂
Coming from a company where customer obsession is fanatical at every level, and now working for a company where customer obsession is paramount, I agree with every bit of this quote: "Are CEOs in corporate America focused enough on product improvement? I think the answer is no,” Mr. Musk told an online audience Tuesday during The Wall Street Journal’s CEO Council annual summit. “Spend less time on finance, spend less time in conference rooms, less time on PowerPoint and more time just trying to make your product as amazing as possible.” If the customer isn't delightfully disappointed in your product - because as excellent as your product is, you haven't yet delivered the amazing product they don't even KNOW they need YET, you're not doing your job, and your competitors are going to eat you alive. #leadership #OneTeam #DayOne …see more
It still blows my mind that people pay me to speak on stages. Especially before I really understood the value that I brought. If I can do it, there is literally no reason why YOU shouldn't be speaking (if you want to be). And for aspiring speakers: ✅ I did a TEDx talk the first year I started speaking. I’m competitive and don’t like to be bad at things, so I did as many gigs as I could to improve. ✅ You are a business. Businesses evolve. So should you. ✅ It’s kind of like hiring a videographer. They’re not just paying for the equipment. They’re also paying for the years of work, knowledge, etc. ✅ It’s easier to speak if you have something to speak about. People wanted to talk to me about my business success. So I did. What lessons would you add? #justQ 🖖🏽🖤 #business #entrepreneurship …see more

BREAKING NEWS! Babylon Health just announced that Rwanda will be the world's most advanced country for digital health! We analyzed Rwanda's digital health efforts and policies before and it seemed like it's Wakanda but for real. This announcement further confirms this (how many people mocked me when I told Rwanda would be a digital health country...!): https://lnkd.in/dnwswBU Here are the facts: * 10-year partnership between Babyl (Babylon’s service in Rwanda) and the Government of Rwanda to build Africa’s first universal primary care service, using a digital-first approach * People in rural villages through to largest cities in Rwanda will be able to have a consultation with a doctor or nurse within minutes over their mobile phone through the country’s national health service * Medical staff will be aided by Babylon’s Artificial Intelligence-powered triage & symptom checker platform * Every consultation will be paid for through the government’s community-based health insurance scheme known as Mutuelle de Santé, which is managed by the Rwandan Social Security. #themedicalfuturis#themedicalfuturis#themedicalfuturist #digitalhealth #future #healthcare #medicine #technology #fromchancetochoice …see more
The kind of person who can make a lot of money is: #competent, #honest, #kind, #creative, knows how to #execute, knows how to #communicate, knows how to build long-lasting relationships, knows how to find opportunity in life.
This would be bad news for several reasons, including for widespread hopes for an eventual critical mass in community immunity pending the development of a vaccine. The hope is that it's due to bad test results etc rather than coronavirus patients getting ill again. https://lnkd.in/eR8QANG #coronavirus #covid19 #covid #immunity #Korea #vaccine #telegraph The Telegraph …see more

We hear, "Life goes on" and it often feels cliched. Except it feels authentic in this narrative about the point of view of octogenarians from the partition era, who have seen wars, destruction and earthquakes, they have also seen peace and recovery, growth and rebuilding of nations. Their memories include the pain and fear but also the light at the end of the tunnel. They know life goes on. The younger lot is still to overcome fear and go through that tunnel. With #experience comes #resilience , #knowledge and #grit to face a #crisis but also wear and tear and rigidity in belief systems. LiveMint …see more
Can we have a moment of silence for all of the businesses that have been forced to shut down indefinitely these past few months? Many of our favorites have turned their signs to CLOSE forever... The cafe where I used to order a strong, black coffee and a gluten-free scone to type away my worries is now an empty building with plywood windows. Today I decided to check in on prospects that had connected with me a year ago with interest in hiring me. I wanted to see how they are doing during these challenging times... I wholeheartedly believe that if they had said "YES - I'm in!" we would have worked together on a plan. With that plan and a little bit of marketing magic, they wouldn't have a 404 error code on their website or a domain up for sale... When you have a plan and you are able to pivot with the spins and turns of a global economy, you CAN remain agile. If you keep putting off that expert support, You are shutting yourself and/or your business off to that growth. My heart truly hurts for those businesses that had to shut down during these challenging times... But there is hope. There will always be hope. I'm here for you and your marketing approach ♥ #Business #Strategy …see more

Brands help people decide. The idea they become less important is preposterous, as life gets more complex and chaotic they become even more valuable.
