It’s so funny as I reflect today on a crazy emotional year. This year was filled with hope and dreams and significant loss. I’ve watched my team survive and rally around each other and me through it all. I am so grateful for my team, customers, other colleagues and followers who have helped and supported us. Support that I could have never imagined. I always say people do business with people. It is with so much gratitude that I want to say #thankyou to all “my people”. Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving! #radicalcpa #leadership #business #thanksgiving …see more
I was a bit apprehensive about discussing leadership but only because it's generally equated to people leadership. I have been asking questions and expressing my thoughts on ethical/responsible investments, independent investment research and financial education throughout my career. I'm grateful people listen. Here’s my ideal program: - Spend some time each day learning the skills in the graphic. - Watch one movie a day with me and discuss. - Publish a book of essays by the end of the year. - You can take time off to travel. And, by the way, this will be cheaper than you going to college. …see more
I write books only to later remind myself of the things that saved my life when I was at my lowest points financially, emotionally, creatively. From "Choose Yourself": I have this taped to my wall. “Only think about the people you enjoy. Only read the books you enjoy, that make you happy to be human. Only go to the events that actually make you laugh or fall in love. Only deal with the people who love you back, who are winners and want you to win too.” #business #entrepreneurship #growth #writing #thinking …see more

How can #startups ensure they have the right customer retention at scale? Divya Gokulnath, Cofounder of Byju's, shares from her experience- "Brand advocacy is the most important thing. Being very focused on your end consumer, having them on your side, making sure they love what you give them and tracking the numbers that really matter, which is retention and renewal. I absolutely love the holidays. Magic fills the air and my heart up with childlike wonder... It's an excuse to shower loved ones in gifts to show our appreciation for their love and support... even of that gift is quality time, cookies, and laughter. This year was special as it was our first EVER LinkedIn Local Madison holiday celebration. My life would NOT be the same without my co-hosts... 🎁 Melanie Ruelas 🎁 Carrie Bohlig 🎤 🎁 AJ Sue (he-him) 🎁 JARED J.Wiese I had rushed straight to the event after spending time in the hospital with my pops following his heart surgery and everyone shared a genuine concern and support... These strangers have become family over this past year and celebrating the holiday season with them meant so much to me. I couldn't be more grateful! Do you have a local community dear to you? What is your favorite part of the holidays? I love basking in the holiday magic, crafts with my son, watching my dogs open presents, and TIME OFF for guilt-free self care! I said yes (to sleep tracking). I've tested around 20 sleep sensors including masks, watches and devices going under the mattress. The Sleepon ring promises to track sleep, wake the user up if their blood oxygen level is low and has an integrated smart sleep alarm function too. It sounds like the sleep tracker jackpot so I had to test it. Here is what I learnt after the first night. I don't have sleep apnoe, my sleep score is high but my deep sleep was not long enough. My oxygen level was normal and only turned around 8 times. There are things to improve and I haven't tested the smart sleep alarm function, the Holy Grail of sleep tracking, but will do tonight. I'll keep you posted. https://www.sleepon.us / #themedicalfuturist #digitalhealth #future #healthcare #medicine #technology #wearable #health #healthy #fromchancetochoice #sleep …see more
