My biggest weakness is undoubtedly my inability to spot RED FLAGS in people🚩 However, my magic-filled heart and rose-colored glasses are also a superpower and asset to a badass mindset and attitude of gratitude that have gotten me through hell and back. This is a balance I'm still trying to perfect... So how do you set effective boundaries that allow you to grow a strong community but also prevent the chance of being taken advantage of? What are a few red flags you often see that are warning signs in your experience? Here are TWO trends I've recently seen: 🚩 When someone says "honestly..." often before sharing an opinion or experience... 🚩 When someone talks negative about others and spreads gossip... I used to admire these "It Girls" and professionals because they held themselves HIGH on a pedestal which had me trapped in false admirations. I was gullible and they used me. It was all smoke in mirrors and I had SUCKER written all over me. I'm so incredibly thankful for my many colleagues and mentors that already dropped wisdom bombs on my Facebook page. Got any books, courses or videos on becoming an expert red-flag-spotter? I'm looking forward to reading through your experiences and recommendations! #professionalism #networking #management #chantelshares …see more

Yesterday was my birthday, and I came into the office to find this book from my boss. This book showcases female leaders who have made their mark in their own fields: journalism, math, film, politics, science, activism, and the list goes on. The greatest gift was not the book. It was knowing that my drive and discipline as a woman in the workplace is embraced by others. Thank you Garima Sharma . #femaleleaders …see more

Add "and what comes post crisis" and you have the most complex set of issues that the global economy and markets have faced in modern times. If two people believe in the same story, they might be thousands of miles apart and total strangers, but they still have a sense they can trust each other.

These are hard troubling times for the sensible, rational and logical. So few places remain for nuance, for moderate voices, for complexity and depth. Now, asking hard questions is troublemaking, seeing both sides is contrarianism, playing the devils advocate is career ending. Yet progress depends on debate, on hard questions, on hard truths, on a depth of understanding, on probing. The more moderate voices leave platforms, the more we seek to understand things in a superficial way, the more we turn to facile gestures, the more intolerant we become of those who make us think, the less the path ahead will ever be forged. Instead rabid extremes fight it out whipped up by entrenched supporters and algorithms Wish we could go to the pub and discuss this. …see more
It’s weird that so many hotels are built on pristine beaches, but then people just hang out next to the pool. Wonder if anyone’s just tried to build an amazing hotel and pool complex somewhere cheap to build.

Key insights from Manoj Modi's session at the Kalaari Capital Annual Summit - India is a supply-constrained market and not a demand-constrained market. - In India, if you supply at affordable prices and provide efficient service, then you will find the market. - Unless everyone makes money while working, you cannot have a sustainable business. - When you provide reach to everybody, you empower them. - Digital ecosystem will eliminate disparity between the haves and the have nots in our country. #HindustanHamara …see more
[First glimpse] #Razr is back, and it’s modern then ever, but can it’s nostalgia factor woo users? When Razr first came out in 2004, it was ooh’d and ahh’d for its slick and “clamshell” design. 15 years later, the new Razr is making its comeback. The innovation is around the design and foldable screen. 🤳 “Selfie mode” and it’s clamshell fold It’s far sharper than expected, and makes selfies fun. Camera Spec (4th gen) Front: 5MP Rear: 16MP Shake the mobile, and the selfie mode is switched on. There’s an auto-smile-shutter that detects your smile and instantly takes a pic. What is impressive is the the screen. You can hardly see the fold-line. The design moment is the screen that allows it to retain its infamous like “clamshell” designs. 💰 Cost - Innovation cost a pretty penny The new #razr will cost you $1499USD. And you need to pre-order too. One pays for innovation. 🍗 String’s Verdict The new smartphone continue to inherit the retro Razr’s as a pricey status symbol. Though it’s more of a design flex than a fashion flex. While it has a strong nostalgia, it’s new direction in innovation is in the foldable screen factor. #stringtech on #motorolarazr #techworld2019 #tech #smartphone #stringstory #stringtheory #razr …see more
