It's going to be interesting to see what happens when a generation of people who can't afford to buy a house grow up in an age when smaller, portable homes can be built cheaply, quickly and with solar power/ large batteries and where sewerage and water generation is easy. We will have the internet everywhere and jobs where telecommuting is more popular than ever. It will be fun to see what happens where off the grid/Portable/ Tiny homes/Prefabricated homes all smash together. …see more

U.S. government regulation of social media platforms could end up hurting small businesses and the economy. Here’s why!
I haven't been able to record any videos since my brother passed away. Not because I'm not capable. But because I've struggled with what it is that I truly want to create. And I guess through this I’m learning that I’ve been riding a wave. Nodding my head. Creating videos and content. Speaking to crowds about things that they want to hear. And somewhere along the line I stopped speaking my truth. I stopped having things to say. I’m done letting people in that I don’t care for. I’m done saying yes to things that go against my beliefs. I’m done going through the motions & dimming down so I don’t make other people uncomfortable. I have things to do. And things to say. We all do. Don’t wait for something like this to happen before you wake up. #justQ 🖖🏾🖤 #personalbranding #entrepreneurship …see more

I am grateful for my education in India. First, college was fun not stress filled. The friendships I #education #success built then were simple and still sustain after all the ups and downs of life. And while there are many things to improve in Indian education system, a middle class student like me could have never afforded expensive college. For my 4 years of engineering in Osmania, i might have paid a total of INR.5000, that is less than $100. Our success depends on so many supporting dots, if i didn't have affordable education, where would I be today? …see more

Sadly I think this year has been the ultimate proof that we don’t take mental health remotely as seriously as we should. We’ve kept kids away from each other, told people to not to go outside, and to distrust and be distant from each other. We’ve injected endless zoom calls, social media and anxiety directly into our brains and to fill all aspects of our lives with algorithms optimized only to monetize endorphin rushes. We closed gyms and the world with zero thought for the moderation they provide. We’ve removed our ability to smile at strangers, communicate expressively or embrace each other. And all with seemingly zero regard for what this may to us, our kids, the vulnerable, the different. If mental health had physical symptoms, I wonder how different things would be. This isn’t a suggestion on a different policy , it’s just a well intention comment on the need to focus on mental health and I hope one day build around new priorities. Top of the list is making content not based on brain chemistry exploitation to the detriment of our whole society …see more
If you search the term ‘Amazon’ on Google Trends, you will observe an interesting trend. Since 2004, every year, interest in the term ‘Amazon’ peaks in December i.e., the holiday season. This gives credence to the hypothesis that when one thinks of Amazon , either in India or in the US, they think of an e-commerce behemoth selling everything everyone needs everywhere. But, what most people don’t realize is that Amazon has grander ambitions. The company has been particularly secretive about its #Healthcare initiatives. But, if their appointment of Taha Kass-Hout as the Chief Health Information Officer to Amazon Grand Challenge team is anything to go by, then they are focused squarely on healthcare as their next big bet. Amazon’s interest in healthcare should mean that #Indianstartups and corporations must create multi-decade plans to ensure that they are not disrupted. The time for startups to start thinking about it is now! Article Link: https://cnb.cx/2H5RmxC …see more
Thank you, Riyadh, for the most thrilling and inspiring week - filled with entrepreneurship, innovation, and wonderful people. I have never in my life met so many entrepreneurs from so many different countries in one room! I wasn’t sure what to expect visiting Saudi Arabia for the first time, but I’m leaving feeling transformed by the brilliant and generous people I’ve met, the ideas they’ve shared, and the experiences we've had together in beautiful Riyadh. The future is bright if we continue to support young innovators and entrepreneurs across the world! 🌟 #entrepreneur #entrepreneurship #ewc #ewc2019 #globalbusiness …see more
